When researching quotes for our Daily Binary WE at State Controlled Media came across the supposed last words of Poncho Villa: “…Tell them I said something.” Since Poncho was gunned down we found it highly unlikely that he said anything. Ordinarily, it would not bother us to put complete fabrications up but it is usually clear we are making something up. In this instance it seemed some of you (and we know who you are even if you don’t) may repeat this as if it were true. Well, we decided to ask the Perpetual Supreme Benevolent Dictator Editor what he thought his last words would be. The PSBE said he had thought about this off and on for years. His conclusion is that it would depend on the circumstances but his most likely last words would be:
“Hey, watch this…”
The other likely candidates are:
“Those pants make your but look big.”
“That dog looks friendly enough to me.”
“Wow this tastes weird…but I spent good money on it…” Preceded by: “Expiration dates are just suggestions.”
Mrs. Perpetual Supreme Benevolent Editor suggested that his last words may be: “Would you stop nagging me I know what I am doing.” Very true Mrs. PSBE, very true…
